1. What is Cloud Computing?

Well Cloud Computing can be simply define as the using of the different services like software ,server , storage ,development platforms are referred as a cloud.

Well I'm sure you would use and heard of this words :- Google drive, mega ,one drive,Dropbox,etc which are also a cloud but it is a cloud which provides you the service of the storage that's the cloud storage 🙃.

2. Characteristics of Cloud Computing

Well now let's look at 3 characteristics of the Cloud Computing : 

1st : Back-end ( Well Back-end nothing but the source the place from where we get services where the owner handles all the hardware & software of the source )

2nd : Payment of Services ( Well if you have SMB i.e, small medium business then you might have a server the place where you keep you folder for which you have to pay as same if you want more storages on the cloud you have to pay for the storages )

3rd : Scalability ( Well the service can be scalable as you can pay as per the storages you want so you can calculate the amount that you have to pay )

3. Advantages & Disadvantages

Now let's look at few advantages and disadvantages of cloud computing

Advantages : 

1.Cost Saving : Well it is very cost saving as if you go to but storages like harddrive it's very costly as compare to cloud storage. And it is so affordable that even Small Medium Business (SMB) can buy some for them.

2.Reliable : Well as this word says it is reliable because you can access the platform from anywhere and at anytime and even if the first server fails there will be plenty of server which will provide the service.

3.Manageable : Well whatever platform or services you access it's data is stored and the services updation are saved automatically and managed by the platform provider i.e, your vendor. All your data will be managed on the platform itself in an arranged manner.

So these were the simple advantages of the Cloud Computing. Now let's look at the Disadvantages of the Cloud Computing...

Disadvantages :

1.Maintenance : Well we know that everything needs to to be fine tune to work smoothly. So here if there is problem, Bugs or any new updates from the service provider then there is a maintenance break. Well as there is a maintenance break until it doesn't over you won't be able to access any material from the cloud.

2.Security : Well as we all know that prevention is better than cure still we don't look at prevention while we see some very delicious price of service. So always make sure the security is up-to-date because of your security is not up-to-date then there are chances of get viruses or etc which can't be detected by the older version of security.

3.Limited Controls : Well there is an always limitation on an every area and do ever here there are limitations like if you are an client than you can only control and manage data and applications but the provider can edit and use it anyway it is to be needed.

Well it's a very decent way to have a good storages but still not great as the real that we carry with ourselves. But overall if you can find a good cloud computing service with a string security and other mandatory then it should come out great for you.
